Dear Parents,

I’ve got a karate summer camp opportunity for you! I urge you to pay attention, find a quiet place without distraction and read every single word of this letter! It’s that important.

Right now you have the chance to enroll your child in Fortunato Karate’s 2010 Summer Super Camp. It’s guaranteed to not only key-in on martial arts and fitness training but character development skills as well.

(Warning to Parents: This summer karate camp will cause your child to have loads of fun and excitement!)

I’m not sure if you know this or not; but this summer Fortunato Karate will be celebrating it’s 14th Year Anniversary. Actually, the exact date is July 15th. So to properly celebrate I’ve put together what will be the most exciting, fun-filled, martial art and character development summer camp I can think of.

We started calling it the Fortunato Karate Summer Super Camp back in 2006 and the name has stuck.

Each year it has gained in popularity and now this year your child is personally invited to be a part of it.

Now before I go into detail about all the benefit’s Karate Summer Super Camp will offer you let me give you some bottom line, time-sensitive information. 

Number One…Space is limited and I’ve only got 20 SPOTS OPEN! So if you want in you’ve got to register right away. (I’ll explain in detail how you can do this at the end of the letter and I’ll show you how to save $50 by pre-registering early)

Number Two…Summer Super Camp will be held the week of July 12th-16th. So, if you think you would like to register your child for camp I would encourage you to get out your calendar and block this week out because I know how hectic summer scheduling is.

Number Three…the 'BASIC CAMP 1/2 DAY COMP' tuition is priced at $247 and the 'FULL DAY CAMP' is priced at $347…(but make sure you read this entire letter because I’ll show you how to save $50 off the regular tuition by registering early).

Number Four…Fortunato Karate’s 2010 Summer Super Camp will be held right at our karate school. 'BASIC CAMP' will start at 9:00 am and go till 12:00 noon. (A snack and beverage is also included everyday for your child.)

Number Five…You’re child has got to be willing to have fun and enjoy hanging out with fellow martial art students ‘cause this camp is sure to be a blast!

2 Camp Options to Choose From:

BASIC 1/2 DAY CAMP:  9 am - 12 noon

BELT ADVANCEMENT FULL DAY CAMP:  9 am - 2 pm

(Those student who enroll in Belt Advancement Full Day Camp will receive lunch at 12:00 everyday and then continue karate & jiu jitsu training from 12:30 to 2:00 pm. This accelerated training will allow them to advance up 1 Belt Level. Of course, they will have to show up and do their part by learning the curriculum...and as always we will do our part to keep the training 'real' and at the same time HAVE FUN!

I hope by now you see the fun, excitement and value that is packed into my 2010 Summer Super Camp…. I’ve been running Fortunato Karate for 12 years now and I’ve hosted seminars, belt testing and tournaments at our school. But I gotta tell you, once I put together this R-E-A-L-L-Y  C-O-O-L  W-E-E-K   L-O-N-G  Summer Camp it was an immediate big hit with the kids.

Super Reason #1: Your child will stay active and NOT get bored!

Sometimes we need to give our children a little push to get out of the house and away from the TV, video games and computers. Summer Super Camp is a great way to keep karate kids active. It’s a great opportunity for them to spend time doing martial arts in a safe, fun, friendly and supervised atmosphere.

Super Reason #2: Re-enforcement of character development and safety tips!

Let’s face it…kids can never get enough positive re-enforcement of the importance of good manners, respect, focus and discipline! I’ll even be teaching some new things too…like “The 7 Home Rules for Kids”.

Super Reason #3: A Great Experience they will never forget!

Fortunato Karate’s week long summer camp will provide your child a whole new experience for training that will be different from the weekly norm of regular karate classes. Plus, they will have some more time to hang out with their karate friends.

Super Reason #4: Mom can kick back and relax!

Now this part is important because sometimes during the summer all mom (or dad) needs is a few hours of quite time to recharge those batteries. Summer Super Camp can hopefully give mom the few hours she needs to get some things done (without the kids).

This week will be packed with fun. The atmosphere will be friendly, safe and supervised…just like regular classes…only with a unique twist.

Foam Self-Defense Sticks!

	This foam self-defense sticks are actually called Escrima Sticks. They are a short hand-held weapon and were used in the development of a self-defense combat art called Kali-Escrima.   These sticks are a $20 value…but they are FREE just for your child. Of course each day during summer camp they will be required to bring their sticks. And each day they will learn coordination drills and self-defense techniques with them. They'll learn how to use the correctly and safely. And will add a great arsenal of self-defense techniques to their toolbox of knowledge.

Remember…you NEED to register now, not later. Scheduling summer events can at times become difficult to plan and actually execute. So I would really like to be done promoting the Summer Karate Camp and have it off my desk altogether at the earliest possible minute and I’m willing to offer you a $50 savings to do it. You will SAVE $50 by registering before Saturday, June 19th provided you are one of the first 20 to do so.

I know how great the temptation to stall, procrastinate, wait, and set this aside. But don’t allow this to happen for this awesome event…
